Driver fitness. Every long-haul trip is run with a two-up crew. Rest cycles are enforced by the ops desk — not negotiated by the driver. We do quarterly medicals, defensive-driving refresher courses, and route-specific briefings before any new lane.
Vehicle integrity. All Wyvern trucks run on a known maintenance cycle out of our Msasa workshop. Tyres, brakes, lights, telemetry, and load-securing equipment are inspected before every long-haul departure. The workshop is in-house — we don’t subcontract truck condition.
Cargo handling. Pallet-securing, edge-protection, blocking and bracing — handled by our packaging team to specifications that survive corrugated SADC roads, not just the loading bay. Seal numbers are captured on the dashboard at the dock, reconciled at every leg.
Compliance & cover. Goods-in-Transit (GIT) insurance is included on every load. Dangerous-goods cargo runs under DG-certified routes with the appropriate permits. Public-liability cover sits on top of everything we move.
