Permits & compliance
- Over-length permits — logs and beams exceeding deck length need ZINARA abnormal permits and may require escorts; allow lead time (see Project & Special Cargo)
- Treatment-chemical compliance — CCA and timber-treatment chemicals move under ADR with MSDS and correct placarding
- Export documentation — Forestry Commission and ZIMRA clearance for timber export; ECTS sealing for cargo transiting Mozambique to Beira
