At Wyvern Freight, Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) form part of how we scope cargo, select equipment, plan routes, prepare documentation, manage handovers and confirm delivery.
It must be collected, handled, transported and delivered in a way that protects employees, drivers, customers, contractors, road users, communities, cargo and the environment.
That requires clear information, early risk identification, suitable equipment, responsible people and one accountable operations thread from collection to signed proof of delivery.
Our objective is practical: protect people, control cargo risk, reduce preventable environmental impact and deliver the service that was agreed.

Before a higher-risk movement proceeds, the cargo requirements, route, equipment, packaging, handling arrangements, documentation and emergency considerations must be understood.
A booking is not operationally ready until the critical movement information has been confirmed.

Our operations team scopes the movement, coordinates required controls, communicates instructions and escalates material risks or exceptions.
Drivers & operational teams
Drivers, handlers and depot teams complete required checks, follow instructions and report hazards, defects, incidents and changing conditions.
Customers
Customers protect the movement by declaring complete cargo descriptions, accurate weights and dimensions, regulated contents, temperature and handling needs, access restrictions, permits and documents.
Contractors & partners
Approved service partners follow the safety, conduct, documentation and quality requirements relevant to the work they perform.
Incorrect cargo information, undeclared risks or unsuitable packaging can place people, equipment, timelines and the shipment itself at risk.
Incident reporting
Early information prevents bigger problems
Hazards, unsafe conditions, near misses, injuries, cargo damage, spills, vehicle defects and quality concerns should be reported promptly.
Early reporting helps the team:
